Como a marca atua com educação em dermatologia por meio de conferências, materiais digitais e apresentações com especialistas, o design precisava equilibrar legibilidade, presença institucional e impacto visual, sem cair na estética fria e previsível que ainda aparece com frequência nesse setor.
Creating this template for Dermsquared was about more than organizing slides. The goal was to build a visual system capable of supporting medical content with clarity, sophistication, and consistency. Since the brand works with dermatology education through conferences, digital materials, and expert-led presentations, the design needed to balance readability, institutional presence, and visual impact without falling into the cold, predictable aesthetic that still appears so often in this field.
Um conceito visual inspirado na própria dermatologia/A visual concept inspired by dermatology itself
O conceito visual do template parte de uma leitura abstrata da própria pele. Os círculos e formas curvas remetem à ideia de microporos, textura e estrutura orgânica, mas reinterpretados por uma estética mais limpa e moderna. A intenção não era criar uma linguagem clínica ou ilustrativa demais, e sim construir uma identidade visual sutil, contemporânea e coerente com o universo da dermatologia.
The template’s visual concept was built from an abstract interpretation of the skin itself. The circles and curved shapes reference the idea of micropores, texture, and organic structure, reimagined through a cleaner, softer, and more contemporary aesthetic. Rather than taking a literal or overly clinical approach, the goal was to create a subtle and sophisticated visual language that connects to the world of dermatology in a modern way.
Clareza para diferentes tipos de conteúdo/Built for different types of content
O template foi desenvolvido para acomodar diferentes momentos da apresentação, incluindo abertura, transições, slides informativos, gráficos, referências e apresentação de speakers. A estrutura precisava funcionar bem tanto em conteúdos mais densos quanto em layouts mais visuais, mantendo hierarquia, ritmo e consistência ao longo de todo o deck.
The template was developed to support different moments within a presentation, including opening slides, transitions, informational layouts, charts, references, and speaker introductions. The system needed to work well for both text-heavy content and more visual slides, maintaining hierarchy, rhythm, and consistency throughout the deck.
Versões clara e escura, mesma identidade/Light and dark versions, one visual identity
Para ampliar a flexibilidade do sistema, criei versões em tema claro e escuro. As duas mantêm a mesma base visual, mas geram atmosferas diferentes: a versão clara transmite leveza e frescor, enquanto a versão escura reforça profundidade e presença. O resultado é um template versátil, preparado para diferentes contextos de uso sem perder unidade de marca.
To make the system more flexible, I created both light and dark versions of the template. Both share the same visual foundation, but create different moods: the light version feels fresh and open, while the dark version adds depth and stronger visual presence. The result is a versatile template, ready for different communication contexts without losing brand consistency.
