Esta semana escolhi mostrar um recorte do que já desenvolvi para marcas: trabalhos que chegaram de direções bem distintas, mas que juntos mostram bem uma parte importante do meu processo criativo.
Não importa a técnica utilizada. Saber transitar entre pintura manual, construção digital, textura e rapport é o que torna o trabalho interessante. Foram mais de dez anos desenhando estampas para moda, e é desse repertório que vem cada uma dessas peças.
This week I chose to show a selection of work I've developed for brands: projects that came from very different directions, but together they capture an important part of my creative process.
The technique changes. The ability to move between hand painting, digital construction, texture, and repeat is what keeps the work interesting. More than ten years designing prints for fashion, and it's from that repertoire that each of these pieces comes.

Pintei as flores à mão, camada por camada, explorando cor sem moderação: azul royal, magenta, verde e laranja convivendo no mesmo quadro. O resultado é uma estampa com energia de obra de arte, densa e feita para quem não tem medo de cor.

I painted the flowers by hand, layer by layer, with no restraint on color: royal blue, magenta, green, and orange all living in the same frame. The result is a print with the energy of a painting, dense and made for those who aren't afraid of color.

Estampa digital desenvolvida para a marca @forumoficial. O briefing pedia algo botânico, mas com personalidade. A solução foi trabalhar com formas recortadas, quase como colagem, no estilo flat.
O resultado é um floral minimalista, com leitura limpa e bom potencial de aplicação em coleção.
A digital print developed for the brand @forumoficial. The brief called for something botanical but with personality. The solution was to work with cut-out shapes, almost like collage, in a flat style.
The result is a minimalist floral, with a clean reading and strong potential for collection use.

Arte criada para a Rovitex, especificamente para tecidos com transparência. Pintei manualmente, explorando a textura do suporte e o movimento da tinta: ondas, escamas e camadas sobrepostas.
Depois refinei digitalmente, preservando o que a pintura trouxe de orgânico. Em azul índigo monocromático, a estampa ganha outra leitura quando a luz atravessa o tecido.
Created for Rovitex, specifically for sheer fabrics. I painted it by hand, exploring the texture of the surface and the movement of the paint: waves, scales, and overlapping layers.
Then I refined it digitally, preserving what the painting brought that was organic. In monochromatic indigo blue, the print gains another reading when light passes through the fabric.
